Resident evil 3 was originaly going to be entitled resident evil 1.5 - it was always meant to take place before, during, and then after the events of resident evil 2. when jill awaken after nemisis attacks her & gives her the virus - that is the date the morning that clare & leon ride into town.. I'm a little confused of how the timeline goes on with resident evil 2 and resident evil 3. there is that secret in resident evil 2 where you can't use any ammo in the starting of the game until you reach the r.p.d. and that is where you unlock the zombie brad vickers..
